What To Expect
During this outpatient procedure, several small injections will be made in the fat under the chin. If you think you might experience pain or discomfort, a local numbing agent can be administered before the Kybella treatment. Normally, the treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes. However, since 2 to 6 treatments are typically required, they will be spaced out approximately one month apart.

Patients in Atlanta who undergo Kybella treatment may not experience any downtime but might feel some discomfort, swelling, bruising, numbness, redness, or areas of hardness at the injection site. These side effects should only last for about 2 to 3 days.
