This patient in her early sixties came into the office after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She wanted to know her options for breast reconstruction to follow her double mastectomy. She wanted the breast to be made completely of her, without an implant. After an involved discussion with Dr. Yalif, she elected to undergo an immediate DIEP reconstruction following her double mastectomy.
